1976 was to be the last year of convertibles in America for a long time. Luckily, 14,000 Eldorado convertibles were built that year. There could have been more. There were more orders in the books.
However, the production capacity of the top was reached at 14,000 pieces. So many of these last factory convertibles were stored and kept speculatively and for collectors.
Every now and then a low mileage car comes on the market.
This very nice phoenicican. The ivory color is such a beauty. The color is rare and the interior and soft top are all tone on tone. Otherwise, the colors were often mixed up and the hood and interior were combined and colorful.
The car has only driven 6,000 miles! It drives like a demonstration car and even smells like a new car. The car runs reliably even over long distances. It is checked at regular intervals driven and maintained. Approved with German vehicle documents and H-certificate.
In the last 30 years we have often enjoyed a low mileage Eldorado of these years and know how it should feel.
The suspension and driving comfort of this last full size series is unsurpassed to this day. Engine running of the 8.2 ltr. V8 engine and shift transitions of the 3-speed turbo automatic transmission as well.
Silky soft and superior to the other competitors of these years.
